Download vehicle and MOT history data
This API endpoint allows you to download a bulk file and a series of delta files that contain vehicle and MOT history data for vehicles registered in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The bulk file is generated every Sunday. It gives a complete snapshot of the data. The delta files are generated daily. They keep the data current without the need to download the bulk file again. You can expect new files to be available from 7am.
For example, if the API endpoint is called on a Wednesday, 5 URLs will be sent.
There will be:
- 1 URL for the bulk file generated the previous Sunday
- 4 URLs for the delta files generated on the Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
Data sources
The downloaded files will contain vehicle information for vehicles registered in Great Britain and Northern Ireland
Although this endpoint does not yet contain full details for heavy vehicles, some heavy vehicle data may be found in the downloaded files.
